This weekend is the annual Ballunar Fest, held at Johnson Space Center, and this morning I parked by the side of the road to see what kind of shots I could get. Here are a few.
Fabulous photos!!! Just so gorgeous, and looks like a perfect morning for the whole show.
Glad you liked my funny Sunday commercial. I just couldn't STOP laughing.
Go 'stros!!!
(hmmmmm, I remember guppyman's comment about his word verification here on your blog and being in the 'ghetto'.....ya wonder what he'd say to mine I'm getting right now?---PEEEFAV? LOLOLOL)
I haven't had good luck with balloon festivals. They always end up being grounded. Although getting a shot of them all ready to launch is pretty awesome as well. Michele says hi this Sunday!
These are great shots! Thank you for capturing them: I had hoped to attend the balloon festival here in London, Ontario. But we were stuck out of town that weekend. So this is a wonderful way to make up for it.
They are beautiful, I'm not sure I would want to go up in one, ya know, with that whole fear of heights thing, but I love watching them just float in the sky.
Thanks for stopping by - I always enjoy your comments. I have a 16" X 15" available at Zazzle: http://tinyurl.com/nxd7x If you have something bigger in mind, let me know. Zazzle sets the prices on their prints. You can click on "size" to choose your size and you can click on "media" to choose the style of print (poster, matte, gloss, canvas, etc.). If you really wanted to get carried away -- they have framing and matting available as well (you'd click on "framing" for more various selections. I'm sure you could the framing done cheaper yourself.
I am older than dirt, but I still feel pretty young & some call me the Energizer Bunny. I share a house with the Professor & 3 cats. Between us we have 5 grown children, all of whom are productive members of society (!), and 10 grandchildren. I have a job I love, a little money for the 1st time in my life, and so many more things I want to do than I will ever have time for.

Well, they had more luck than they did at Kennedy Space Center yesterday.
With a snappy salute from the Agnew Group.
Those are great photos, I forgot that was going on yesterday.
