Between us we have 5 grown children, all of whom are productive members of society (!), and 10 grandchildren. I have a job I love, a little money for the 1st time in my life, and so many more things I want to do than I will ever have time for.

Actually, this is Hunting Island in South Carolina. The island is eroding at a rapid rate. We found the forest at the edge of the beach so charming, but that is a sign of severe erosion.
We're going to have to make you some kind of travel template....
Ok, now I am going to have to put Hunting Island on my list of things to see.
I love that tree in the second pic, it's so interesting.

Poor trees. The Island doesn't seem to be eroding the way it looks like. Of course I haven't seen it.

WOW @ those HUGE tree roots.. It kind of scares me.. I wonder what the roots on our trees in the back look like.. I probably do not want to know.
