I am older than dirt, but I still feel pretty young & some call me the Energizer Bunny. I share a house with the Professor & 3 cats. Between us we have 5 grown children, all of whom are productive members of society (!), and 10 grandchildren. I have a job I love, a little money for the 1st time in my life, and so many more things I want to do than I will ever have time for.

Wow... that looks like a nice, cool, nearly winter day... love the moss on the trees!
I took this picture in the Dordogne Valley in France (not sure I spelled that right, but close.) We were visiting some caves that were lived in continuously from prehistoric through medieval times. The whole area is riddled with caves -- Lascaux is here -- but I was just fascinated by all that moss.
Pretty. Moss? Cool. In Arizona there are trees called Palo Verde (green stick) that actually have that color of bark! When the pic first opened I thought that WAS a palo verde tree.

I love all the moss on the tree. I have never seen it like that until I moved up here in Washington! There's a stretch of freeway heading east that runs along the river. There are so many mossed covered trees I wish that I could pull and take some pics. But the guard rail is there the whole way and there is no place I can SAFELY stop! :( My WW is up!
