Wordless Wednesday
When I was a child, my family lived on Long Island and made frequent trips into New York City. I always wanted to sit on the lions outside the library, but my mother Would. Not. Allow. It. So last year when the Professor and I found ourselves in front of the NYC library, I decided to fulfill this lifelong dream. I asked the Prof to take my picture so I could show my mother the extent of my rebellion. While I was posing, some strange kid jumped up on the statue and stayed so long, I never did get to get sit on it. He probably saved me some embarrassment, since I suspect that the contortions I would have used to get all the way up on the statue would not have been a pretty sight.

My grandson would love to climb up there on the lion! And I would let him. :)
Thanks for stopping by.
My kids would be all over that! The lion resembles Aslan! I'm up!
LOL! That is hilarious! Next time you go to NYC you will absolutely have to climb on top of that beast!
